iPod Movies

We all know that the Apple iPod has transformed how the world thinks about music. Whereas before, music portability was very limited because of the size and technology, today, music is measured in byte sizes and not necessarily CDs. And more and more companies are realizing that making music more iPod Nano friendly is a great way to tap into a growing market. Well, since we have special music releases for the iPod, why not have special iPod movies?

Creating iPod movies that can only be downloaded and played on the Apple iPod (duh), accomplishes a lot of things. It gets people to use their iPod in a way that they may have otherwise not have discovered. And, if people don't have an iPod that's capable of playing these movies, it may persuade them to upgrade and get an iPod that can play the special videos.

Of course, special iPod movies can create a word-of-mouth prescence and feel that other forms of entertainment and media simply can't match. And if people are downloading movies from the Apple site or features, well then, isn't that just a great place to place some advertising and marketing promotions?
