PSP
The PSP, which is short form for the Playstation Portable, is a hand-held video game system designed, developed and manufactured by Sony. Since the Nintendo Game Boy was released way back in the day (April 21, 1989 at a selling price of $89.95), the world has fallen in love with the portable video game system. Slowly but surely, portable and hand-held video game consoles have improved over the years. But, the PSP has taken the portable video game system to a whole new level.
Not just able to play video games, the PSP can do much more than any hand-held video game system before it. Because of the power and capabilities of the Sony PSP, it is actually more of a complete multi-media center rather than just a portable video game player.
Unlike the Game Boy (which, if you can believe it or not, is approaching its 20th anniversary), the PSP is in color, which makes it light years ahead of earlier hand-held video game systems. The Sony PSP can also play movies and music on it, can display pictures, photos and other images as well, and the PSP is even capable of surfing the internet via its wireless internet networking feature. And, one has to remember that all of these super cool features and abilities are contained in a small device that's portable and that you can easily fit in your pocket!
