For the more popular games, special strategy magazines may be released listing particular cheats for the game. Other times, you can locate a walk-through guide for each game. A walk-though guide tells you exactly where to go and what to do to complete the game in sequence. So, while you are finishing the game properly, the mystery of discovering and figuring things out has been removed.

Video game cheats are here to stay, and they can make for a unique gaming experience. While they won't replace actually playing a game from start to finish, they can make gameplay much more interesting, and a little less frustrating too.
